Coffee on the Way

What and Why ...

Coffee on the Way is a not-for-profit pop-up coffee shop owned and operated by Core Church. We open on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of the month in Bowerhill Village Hall in the West Wiltshire town of Melksham.

We serve high quality barista coffees, speciality teas, hot chocolate, soft drinks, delicious pasties and cakes, light lunches and snacks. Many of the items on our menu are Fairtrade.

Coffee on the Way is a social enterprise. Our aim is to provide a pleasant place for local people to meet with friends and family or just sit and enjoy a few moments rest without feeling any pressure to drink up and get out. We have a play area for toddlers and with the village hall being located next to the local primary school, we are an ideal place for parents to drop-in before or after the school run.

Our volunteers have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and the satisfaction of making a positive difference in their community.

In addition to opening in the village hall, we occasionally attend other local events such as the Melksham Food and River Festival that takes place in September each year. This page is kept up-todate with details of where and when you can find us.
